Scholarships are the greatest area of need for TUC students. Your gift can make an immediate impact on their lives. Many of our students are unable to work, therefore, scholarship opportunities are singularly important and valuable to earning their degrees. In some cases, scholarships can be a deciding factor in realizing their professional dreams. Please explore the many ways below that your gift can make a difference.
The Osteopathic Scholarship
A one-year, non-renewable award presented by the Dean of the College of Osteopathic Medicine for outstanding potential for leadership in Osteopathic medicine.
The Reach Scholarship
The REACH Campaign Pharmacy Scholarship is awarded by the Dean of the College of Pharmacy to highly sought-after students who may otherwise be reluctant to take on more student debt for a pharmacy education and help attract them to the Touro pharmacy program and a career in Pharmacy. These funds will help support student development through participation in conferences, seminars, and continued growth of the residency program.
Annual scholarships are awarded by the Dean of the College of Education and Health Sciences each year to full time TUC students who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and who are in good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help that education student gain that needed credential, or that nursing student gain critical decision-making skills, and will enrich and diversify the classroom experience.
Alumni Association Scholarship
Annual scholarships are awarded by the Alumni Association Board each year to full time TUC students who best demonstrate leadership skills, a commitment to community involvement, and have good academic standing. Your financial support to this fund will help the Alumni Association make a greater impact.
TUC Hammer Scholarship
If you pledge to give $1,000 for 5 years, the scholarship will be given in your name with 100% of the gift given to the student. Funds are distributed yearly and you can choose any student in any of the six programs to be awarded the scholarship. Minimum commitment $5,000 payable over 5 years. $1,000 per year or $83.34 per month.
Individuals, alumni classes, family members, and colleagues can establish a scholarship with a one-time gift or a multi-year pledge totaling at least $25,000. This scholarship naming opportunity can be used to honor a personal hero or be named after you, your family, or a loved one.
Student Run Free Clinic
TUC is proud of our free health clinic organized and staffed by the students with onsite, direct supervision by a licensed clinician. Your donation to this clinic will help our students in their efforts to provide reliable and accessible care for those in need in the community. 100% of your donation supports the clinic and the work the students do for the community.
